
Olisha Smith MSW, LCSW, has an impressive background of 19 years in social work. She specializes in both group and individual therapy.
In addition to her private practice, Olisha contributes to the academic community as an adjunct professor at Indiana University Indianapolis, where she plays a pivotal role in educating and supervising students in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. She offers supervision and consultation to other professionals in the field, enhancing their practice and client care. She is also a clinical supervisor for a mobile crisis unit.
Olisha learned about the AIMS center in 2022 when she was a part of a Behavior Activation cohort. In 2023, she was trained in Problem Solving Therapy. In 2025, she joined the AIMS center as a consultant and is now a Clinical Trainer and Practice Coach.
Her educational career includes an Associate in Science degree from Vincennes University, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ball State University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from IU Indianapolis.
