Commonly Prescribed Psychotropic Medications

Within Collaborative Care, Behavioral Health Care Managers provide patients with care management services for their treatment. Treatments can include use of medications, engaging in psychotherapy, or a combination of the two. Care management for medication treatment includes close follow-up and monitoring of behavioral health symptoms as well as identification of issues/concerns that should be relayed to the primary care provider and/or psychiatric consultant. 

This summary of commonly prescribed psychotropic medications will help to familiarize you with effective medication treatments used in primary care.
