Psychiatric Consultant Training

Effective Collaborative Care is a team of providers working together on a single treatment plan. Its success relies on each member of the treatment team understanding their role and having the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill that role.

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) offers FREE Collaborative Care training for Psychiatric Consultants as part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI). By taking this initiative and training, Psychiatric Consultants will be prepared for payment reform and practice in a value-based world.
