CMS Physician Fee Schedule 2021: Invitation for Comments

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has proposed a new 30-minute CoCM code for 2021 and is soliciting comments on that and other proposed changes to the Physician Fee Schedule. Public comments are invited until 11:59 pm on October 5, 2020

The AIMS Center enthusiastically supports the proposed 30-minute code and we encourage practices that are billing using CoCM codes to comment as well. We are offering our own comments below as an example to modify for your own organization. See also a list of key talking points to include in your comment.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published final rules that allow Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) to bill for Behavioral Health Integration services, Chronic Care Management, and the Collaborative Care Model.
