Juliann Salisbury
Materials Development & Training Manager

Juliann joined the AIMS Center in January 2016. In her current role, she oversees the development, management, and evaluation of AIMS Center training materials.

 

Juliann received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington with studies focused on clinical integrative health/mental health. In the program she interned as a behavioral health provider at a dialysis clinic as well integrated primary care clinic. Juliann also earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Western Washington University. During her time as an undergraduate, Juliann assisted in research investigating the effectiveness of short-term mindfulness meditation interventions.

 

Prior to working at the AIMS Center, Juliann worked as Program Coordinator at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) were she organized community lectures and education classes on mental wellness topics in Whatcom County. During this time she helped co-found the NAMI on Campus chapter at Western Washington University. She also facilitated NAMI family support groups and volunteered as crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line.
