Juliann joined the AIMS Center in January of 2016 providing support as Program Assistant to various AIMS Center projects. Previously, Ms. Salisbury worked as a Program & Office Coordinator for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Whatcom County. Her time at NAMI Whatcom cultivated her passion for improving the quality of behavioral health systems, specifically as it relates to access to mental health services for vulnerable populations. Juliann earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Western Washington University, specializing in mental health and interpersonal relationships. During her time as an undergraduate, Juliann assisted in research surrounding the effectiveness of short-term mindfulness meditation interventions under Dr. Barbara Lehman.
